Resilient English Language Teaching Methods: Personal Experience
In today's world, where technology plays a key role in education, I strive to incorporate innovative approaches into my English language teaching. One of my most effective methods is creating educational channels in the Telegram app for my students. These channels are divided by the grades I teach. In this article, I will discuss how my individual resilient teaching methods help improve learning and protect against professional burnout.
Creating Educational Channels in Telegram
The main goal of creating my Telegram channels is to enhance and simplify the learning of English. I develop and publish diverse content that helps students dive deeper into the language and practice it in an engaging way. My channels include:
- Video Lessons: I record and upload videos where I explain complex grammar topics, discuss new words and phrases, and offer practical exercises.
- Games on the Wordwall Platform: Interactive games help students reinforce their knowledge in a playful manner, making the learning process more interesting and motivating.
- Articles and Riddles: I select and create articles on various topics, as well as include riddles that develop thinking skills and expand vocabulary.
- Audio Lessons: To improve listening skills, I record audio lessons that students can listen to at their convenience.
Supporting Resilience in Learning
This approach to teaching allows me to create a dynamic and interactive educational environment. Students can study at a time and pace that is convenient for them, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the material. Regular content updates and material variety maintain interest in language learning, which is especially important for supporting resilience in education.
Protection Against Professional Burnout
For me, as a teacher, creating these channels also has significant advantages. Firstly, it allows me to systematize and structure materials, simplifying lesson preparation. Secondly, the opportunity to experiment with new forms of material presentation stimulates the creative process and maintains my professional interest. Thirdly, positive feedback and student progress provide additional motivation and job satisfaction, helping to prevent professional burnout.
Conclusion
Using Telegram channels for teaching English has become an important part of my teaching practice. This method not only improves the learning process for my students but also supports my own resilience and professional development. In a constantly changing educational world, it is important to seek and implement new approaches that help both students and teachers stay motivated and effective.
